Hands-on labs for the BESSER low‑code platform

Each lab is a guided exercise you can finish in one sitting. You model something, generate code from it, and check that it runs. 3 of the 12 labs run entirely in the browser.

Every track builds on the foundations. After Lab 1, take the tracks in any order. The full set takes about 12 hours.

Extend BESSER

Write your own code generator and add new concepts to the metamodel.

Every lab has the same shape

  1. Know what you're getting into

The top of each lab lists the time it takes, what you need installed and what you'll have at the end.

  2. Follow numbered steps

Steps use the exact labels you see in the editor, with real screenshots and code you can copy.

  3. Check your work

Green checkpoints tell you what you should see before you move on, and what to try if you don't.

  4. Stretch with an exercise

Each lab ends with an open exercise. Instructors can request worked solutions.
